Vincent P. Reilly, Q.C.

Vince Reilly is an associate counsel with the firm. He obtained his law degree from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. After practicing in Glasgow for three years Mr. Reilly moved to British Columbia. He joined Pearlman Lindholm in 1968 and became a partner in 1970. Mr. Reilly currently practices full-time as an associate counsel.

Mr. Reilly concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate law, with an emphasis on commercial acquisitions, sales, leasing and development, including commercial and residential financing. As well he practices in the areas of corporate law and wills and estates law.

In his preferred areas of practice Mr. Reilly advises and represents clients who are acquiring properties for development, resale or as additions to their real estate portfolios. Such developments may be for construction, renovation, subdivision or stratification.

He also advises and represents clients on their corporate needs and requirements for their business purposes and is actively involved in advising them on estate structuring matters.

Mr. Reilly was appointed Queen’s Counsel in December 1986.

Throughout his career he has been active in the community and is a member of various professional associations, including the Law Society of British Columbia, Canadian Bar Association and several of its subsections.

In the community Mr. Reilly has been an active member of the Rotary Club and is a past president of the Saanich branch of that club. He has also served as a Governor on the University of Victoria Board of Governors. Mr. Reilly is also a former board member and secretary of the Victoria Symphony Society.
