Margaret R. Odishaw

Margaret Odishaw was born and raised in Saskatchewan. She earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a law degree at the University of Alberta. She subsequently opened her own firm and practiced law in Edmonton until 1994.

Ms. Odishaw moved to Victoria with her three sons in 1994. She became a member of the Law Society of British Columbia in 1995 and is still an active member of the Alberta bar.

Her main area of practice is civil litigation with a focus in family law. Ms. Odishaw has appeared in every level of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada on two occasions. She also practices in the areas of real estate and wills and estates.

Ms. Odishaw's main passion is her family. She is actively involved in both school and community volunteer work, including P.E.E.R.S., AGAKhan Foundation, and Aids in Africa.
