Wendy
E. Bernt
Wendy Bernt is an associate with the firm. She received her law
degree from the University of Victoria in 1998 and was called to
the British Columbia Bar in 1999.
Ms. Bernt's primary areas of practice are family law and civil
litigation. She regularly appears in both the Provincial Court of
British Columbia and Supreme Courts of British
Columbia. Since 1999 Ms. Bernt has been counsel for the Ministry
of Child and Family Development and has handled numerous cases involving
child abuse and neglect.
She is the published author of an article on parental support legislation
in Canada and the co-author of a paper on alternative dispute resolution
with Stephen Owen, former Ombudsman of British Columbia and current
Canadian Member of Parliament.
